Rabbi Jason Miller, the Mitzvah Rabbi, is available to tutor your son for a bar mitzvah or your daughter for a bat mitzvah. A distance learning experience requires an Internet connection, camera, and microphone. No additional software is needed. Tutors will use either Skype, Apple Facetime, Zoom or Google Hangout to train the bar or bat mitzvah student.
Online, private tutoring lessons using Zoom are an easy, non-threatening way for your son/daughter to prepare for their bar/bat mitzvah. Lessons are only half an hour and kids enjoy the learning experience with Rabbi Jason. Personalized audio recordings for you to practice learning the prayers and Torah reading are also available.
I teach adults as well as children. And most of all, I try to be gentle and friendly, and not at all intimidating. (This is the part that both the kids and the grownups really appreciate!)
